Windward Community College's Pacific Partnerships for Science Education (PPSE) is a consortium of collaborative programs which promote science education in Hawai‘i and throughout the Pacific region. PPSE provides educational outreach opportunities to the community at large and supports WCC's credit science program, which emphasizes the marine, earth and space sciences with a special focus on environmental monitoring and remote sensing.

The primary goals of WCC's Pacific Partnerships for Science Education include:

• Undergraduate science enrichment (fellowships/internships/research experience with state-of-the-art equipment)
• K-12 science enrichment (special programs for public/private/homeschool)
• Teacher training (variety of in-service K-12 teacher & undergraduate college faculty training workshops)
• Parent-child shared learning (hands-on workshops for parents and their children)
• Workforce training (career changes and on-the-job training in remote sensing/ GIS/environmental monitoring)
• Community awareness (public exhibits and lectures)

• Na Ho‘okele (Polynesian voyaging & stewardship organization)
